NAIDOC WEEK 2023

This year the theme for NAIDOC week is "For Our Elders". Indigenous Australian Elders continue to play an important role caring for Country and have for upwards of 60,000 years.

NAIDOC week is a time to celebrate Country and all Indigenous Australians past and present.

At Delacombe Primary we endeavour to use this opportunity to develop our knowledge and celebrate Indigenous Australian Culture.

Koling wada-ngal - means walking together.

At Delacombe Primary School we believe in walking together, growing together and supporting one another to be the best we can be.

Marrung is a strategy to ensure that all Koori Victorians achieve their learning aspirations. Through Marrung, Delacombe Primary School aims to create a positive climate for learning and development where we demonstrate the highest levels of respect and inclusion and, as a result, Koorie children and learners of all ages feel strong in their identity.
